Voice training is the secret to success for many contemporary vocal artists. This is an introductory course designed to teach you how to make your voice sound more powerful, how to use vocal technique to expand your range and expression, and how to become more confident in vocal performances.
This course is a fantastic option for those seeking voice lessons for both beginners and professionals. You will be learning the skills to become a complete music
minister.
The course has been subdivided into 3 sections.
In the first section, the course explores how to sing with more freedom. We will be examining all you need to know about your voice part, texture, range, and voice management. We also will be
looking at the popular scales, vocal exercises, have better breath control, sing
simple harmonies, harmony structure, lead vocals, BGV, Tessitura, etc.
In the second section, we will be exploring the Keyboard instrument. You will be learning the geography of the piano, how to locate keys on the piano, the musical letters, scales, basic triads, and harmony.
On the other hand, we will also explore how to use the music app called Bandlab.
In the third section, we will be looking at the ministry of a singer according to the scriptures. Understanding the Origin, Power, and Use of Music. Music in the Bible, Music at the dawn of Biblical History, The place of Music in the service of God, Difference between Soulish music and Spiritual music in the Church, The three-fold Purpose of the Music ministry, etc.
By the end of this course, you will be able to;

Contemporary Music Pianist, Music producer and Director
Makinde James is a multitalented music educator, contemporary music pianist, skilled music producer, and a director for live performances. He has a deep passion for music theory and a knack for teaching, Makinde's goal is to help students develop techniques for learning to play songs on the piano by ear, without neglecting the much-needed theoretical knowledge.
He has several years of experience as a performer and educator, as a contemporary music pianist, he is well-versed in various genres of music which includes, jazz, classical, rock, and pop. This has enabled him to adapt to any style or genre of music while teaching his students. Alongside his skills as a pianist, Makinde is also a talented music producer and has an in-depth understanding of music production techniques, software and equipment. He currently is the Music producer and director for live performances at The Music Executives, where he oversees the entire production and ensures a seamless event.
